IGBO-SISUN was founded by MoMA-Commissioned artist Moses Aina, who is rooted in lived resilience rather than inherited privilege. As IGBO-SISUN means “Burning Bush” in Yoruba, this company dismantles the harmful ideologies suffocating those who have been told that they are not enough. Through garments informed by faith, endurance, and transformation, IGBO-SISUN creates a visual language of authority and self-worth.
