IGBO-SISUN means “Burning Bush” in Yoruba, and it was inspired by the story of Moses and the Burning Bush within the bible. This story is a call to purpose, to empower people to embrace their individuality, and it is a celebration of boldness. The name reflects our belief that clothing can reveal and amplify the light, power, and distinction already within the wearer.

What is ready-to-wear?
Our ready-to-wear pieces are designed, developed, and produced in predetermined sizes for those who want to experience the IGBO-SISUN world with a more immediate purchase. Each piece retains our commitment to distinctive silhouettes, meticulous craftsmanship, color, and intentional design.
What is made-to-measure?
Made-to-measure allows a garment to be created specifically for you. Your measurements are taken into consideration so that the final piece is tailored to your proportions and vision. Made-to-measure is particularly suited to clients seeking a highly personalized garment for a special occasion, appearance, performance, or moment of significance.
IMPORTANT: The only items available for garment loans is anything within the made-to-measure section. Ready to wear pieces must be purchased.
Can I request a custom design?
Yes. For select clients and projects, IGBO-SISUN offers custom design and made-to-measure services. If you have a particular vision, occasion, silhouette, or concept in mind, email igbosisun@gmail.com to discuss your project.

Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the garment, materials, construction, and current studio schedule. Your estimated timeline will be discussed during your consultation. For special occasions, we recommend reaching out as early as possible.
Can I request changes to a made-to-measure garment?
Made-to-measure pieces are developed collaboratively, and certain adjustments may be possible throughout the process. The scope of alterations or design changes depends on the stage of development and the construction of the garment. Please discuss any desired changes with us as early as possible.
